As Totally Locally takes off more in Australia, I’m working in South Australia with towns and groups on loads of different projects, including creating an identity for your town, engaging communities, workshops with groups on how to bring vibrancy to their town, and the launch of two Totally Locally towns – Kapunda on the edge of the Barossa, and Western Fleurieu (which incorporates a few small towns).
I’m there from April 15 to May 1st, and the flyer above (for Barossa region) is available as a download Here>> Barossa flyer 5web
I will be talking in Fleurieu and working with groups on Friday 24th & Saturday 25th. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you want more info, or check the Doers Group on Facebook.
But it’s not all work! I’ve got some good cycling in, tasted far too many wines at the amazing local vineyards, been a guest at the huge Barossa Vintage Feast and most of all, met some incredible people – makers, growers, wine makers and community champions. Lots of tales to tell, but here’s a few photos to give an idea. This is my 3rd trip to SA in the last 18 months, and everyone is really intersted and excited about the stuff that Totally Locally towns are doing, and the way they are doing it in particular.
The whole trip has been made possible by RDA Barossa, Barossa Council & Fleurieu Council.
And if you get chance to visit South Australia – do! It’s spectacular, and the people are what makes it special!
