Here’s a nice idea from Totally Locally Teddington, a raffle draw designed to remind locals to shop more in their local independent shops.
As we’re sure you know by now, we love alliterations so we’re a fan of this one!
It’s a great idea that relies on collaboration, a tiny spend from participating business, all together it creates a buzz around town with locals incentivised by receiving one chance to win a prize with every shop the do – simples.
Participating shops bought raffle books, then handed out one with each purchase. They also offer a £20 gift voucher towards the huge grand prizes!
For this one, a huge 2,000 ticket stubbs were collected and randomly picked from to find the winners!
The top three winners received:
First: £300 in vouchers for independent businesses
Second: £140
Third: £80
