The kit has all the marketing material you will need. It’s shared online electronically so you can change details such as your town name, £5 amount, social media handles etc then printed locally.

Included are templates for posters, our manifesto, declaration of independents, a local newspaper, tote bags, banners, badges, launch invites, house rules, Thank You slips, and much more. It also contains a suggested campaign timeine and guidelines on how to run things – from first meetings to events to getting together and creating new ideas. It even has templates to create invites to meetings, and a press release for when you are about to launch!

You just need to know (or know someone who knows) how to use Adobe Indesign to edit .indd files or (the much cheaper) Affinity Publisher to edit the PDFs. Most local printers do. From there it’s just an easy matter of altering the material to change the name to your town name, change photos to some of your own shop keepers, send them to print, then follow the timeline – which is in the kit too. Easy as.
