This goes through the timeline of the campaign from its inception in 2010 (has it really been that long?), inspired by a visit to Todmorden Market and how the strategy is now used all over the world.
It tells the story of how his family involvement with local shops kept his passion for shopping locally and how this helped him form a strategy for supporting independent businesses.
“It’s just about telling the story really and inspiring communities to think they can actually do something themselves,” Chris says. “They don’t have to wait for anyone, for a £10m investment into their high street…This is stuff people can start doing now.”
